google mobile applicationGoogle Inc. is now offering free downloadable mobile application that also extends to Google Local Service to some mobile phone user. This free downloadable application is named Google Local for Mobile. This application let’s the user to search for location and views the map, in addition it gives the satellite direction. The user also zoom the map, just like operating Google map in computer. So this application works like GPS but contains more function in it.

However, this application will be downloadable to those mobile phones which are capable of downloading JAVA application. It is already available in some mobile operators in U.S such as Cingular Wireless LLC, Sprint Nextel Crop. and T-Mobile U.S.A. Though some mobile operators such as Verizone Communication Inc., Alltel Crop. and U.S Cellular customers will not be able to use this application. Devices such as Nextel, Blackberry and Palm are not supported to this application.

Although the users can download this application for free but they will be charged by the mobile operators for data access fees to use this application. Google also have offered other mobile operators like, a user can text message to Google asking for driving direction or business location. A mobile user with web-enable phones can also browse the Internet with the mobile version of Google.

You can try running those programs in Compatibility Mode of Windows XP. It’s what you do to access a program’s compatibility mode in XP:

  1. At first find the executable file or program shortcut icon which you want to run.
  2. Right-click on the icon and select properties option.
  3. Read the instructions on the window. Click on to the compatibility tab and place a right mark on radio button of this text labeled “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
  4. In the next panel you will see a space, which called for selecting a compatibility mode for the program, select the option for the version of Windows under which your program used to run or was designed to run: Microsoft Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, or Windows 2000/Windows Me.
  5. After that you will called for selecting display settings options for the program, click the check box or boxes for the display settings that are suggested for executing the program. You may require fine-tuning the three fields under “Display Settings” if an older program requires 640×480 resolution or 256 colors. These check box options also included with disable Visual Themes options.
  6. After selecting the option click on next button. It will verify your selections for the program.
  7. If your settings are correct then click next button to run your program in compatibility mode.

If XP can’t able to run the program then you will get an alert box indicating that there’s a problem. It may be occurred, you have forgotten that, on which windows platform the program was written for? So try to run it for a different operating system.

The new research diagnostic manual of Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) has approved by psychologists.

On the other hand, one of the leading medical experts on addiction in China, Tao Ran, who headed the drafting of this research manual as well, said that the guide would be the first of its kind in the world if the Ministry of Health officially approves it. He added that Health ministry is extremely likely to give the study manual the green light next year. China daily quoted his speech as

If so, China will be the first country to recognize IAD as a clinical disease, like gambling or alcohol addiction.

We should consider this report seriously as most of us do not know what our children do in online. But it is now time to cheek what your children do in online otherwise there is a possibility to get them such internet clinical disorder.
