In a statement authority said that each senior official has two computers, one that connects to the web and the other for classified work, that is not connected to the net. However, that is not the first such instance of hacking. In May 2008, the MEA’s internal communication network was got to have been broken into by several Chinese hackers. If truth be told, a series of intrusions into secure systems in the ministry were then traced to China. The Indian government now thinks how they can protect this kind of activity in future.
