US electronics giant Apple and China Unicom announced on Friday that they have made an agreement to introduce Apple’s popular gadget iPhone in China later 2009. The country is the world’s largest cellular phone market with above 650 million cell phone accounts.

Unicom is going to be the first Chinese mobile phone company to officially support the iPhone network.  However, thousands of fake iPhones are smuggled into China.
