An artificial immune system that can easily solve all the computational problems, and very closely mimic the actual human body is what the researches has now known to bring to this world as the latest on its inventory list. “ An artificial immune system” although not sounding a reality, but now biological research as a new branch of evolutionary computation has done wonders in the Artificial Immune System or AIS and this also has proven that vaccines can simply and quickly improve the functioning of the immune system in humans to a great extent.

Much improved of all the previous researches in AIS, this one has used the distinguishing feature of the immune system in the body for differentiation of body cells from the foreign or disease causing ones as an optimization problem. Here the antibodies are decisions and the antigens are the solutions that a immune system seeks for naturally.

Under this study, it has also been stated that the use of vaccines can improve the immune system’s functioning greatly and can thus help in a much quicker identification of antigens and also developing an immunological memory to trigger instant reactions if the body gets exposed to the same antigen the second time. This will thus help in quick detection and destruction of these disease causing foreign bodies.

Not just immune system functioning, the notion of vaccines will also increase the diversity of antibodies making the body create antibodies to even those antigens to which previously the human immune system was unable to. The implementation of the algorithm as optimization problem will also help in locating easy and quick solutions and will thus help the antibodies to achieve not just a speedy learning but also a more diversified exploration for future.

The new algorithm called “Vaccine-AIS”, is above all the other AIS known before and will also locate all optima in much fewer evaluations, thus getting the solution more speedily and effectively. The algorithm now able to cover a much larger search space with the aid of vaccines this also veils potential to enhance computational abilities in various other related areas of health and research.

Originally designed for anomaly detection, data mining and related things, the Vaccine -AIS as an optimization tool has now become a very hot topic attracting researchers from all over. The use of AIS in other medical processes including MRI is also being studied as the further application of these new, exciting and most powerful AIS called “Vaccine-AIS” now.

A brain controls all the function of the body and is like a controller for all our body activities. If a new technology brings a brain implant chip that would just fit into our brain and which would help us control all the devices, then that could certainly be a great revolution. Intel is working on the same brain chip which could just revolutionize the world. This small chip would be able to operate the computers and the mobile phones including other important devices like the DVDs and TVs. The thoughts will operate all these devices, making this brain chip like a universal controller to manage all the important devices.

The Intel Pittsburgh Laboratory is currently working on this new project and with the results that the scientists have gathered from the volunteers the invention seems promising. The brain chip would be based on FMRI which means a Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging and will be working by sensing the brain activity. According to Dean Pomerleau who is a research scientist at Intel, the brain chips would be available in the near future and a headset which operates on the brain sensing technology is close by. This headset would be able to operate the computer. Next in line would be the development of the small brain implant and with such dedicated researchers it would sure won’t take long.

Theoretically, when people think about any same image or word then they all have the same activity going on in their brain. This is just a theory and as the exact functioning of the brain is yet to be established, this fact has still some uncertainties, but the brain scan of the volunteers has produced some hopeful results which have kept all scientists keen on working on this project.

According to Professor Higgins from the Arizona university hybrid computers which will be working on combination of technology and living tissue will be available for use in a decade or 15 years. Brain and eyes of a moth have been used to build a robot by the researchers at this university with some successful results. Scientists and researchers in other areas of the world are also working on similar projects. In Toyota the researchers have been able to develop a wheelchair which is controlled by the brain waves.

Though many people may not be willing to volunteer their brains for this revolutionary Intel chip implant till it is developed but in the future it may seem be a blessing for all the people like quadriplegics who have very limited physical movement.
